An  excellent earth based image of M27 (Messier 27) known as the Dumbbell Nebula in the constellation Vulpecula.  This image was taken by the astronomers of the VLT (Very Large Telescope) in Chile.  Information, and technical data on the image are included.

Information page on the Hubble Space Telescope's image of the 'Stingray' Nebula in the constellation Ara. The designation of this planetary nebula is H3-1357, or Henize 3-1357.
