Planetary Nebula NGC 4361

The planetary nebula NGC 4361 in Corvus, in an H-alpha image from the Lowell Observatory 1.1 meter telescope. Becauseof its symmetry resembling a spiral in the outer parts, and its location south of the Virgo galaxy cluster, it can be mistaken for a galaxy on casual examination of photographs.
