For Gallery 12, I am pleased to showcase several images captured and
processed by Frank Loch, an amateur astronomer with
his own observatory in Center Valley, Pennsylvania. These are just a small
representation of the many images that Frank (used to)present on his own web
site. After viewing these
planetary nebulae images, I highly recommend visiting his site for additional images of
galaxies, clusters, and beautiful astro-art which Frank also skillfully produces.
Frank is using a Meade LX200 12" telescope, an SBIG ST-7 CCD camera, and also
the SBIG Adaptive Optics AO-7. For each image shown and briefly identified here, I
have also included a link to the specific web page on Frank's web site that goes into
greater detail on exactly how the image was taken and processed.
