In this gallery, it is a privilege to display some planetary nebula drawings and a diagram of PNe spectra contributed to this web site by David Knisely,  President of the Prairie Astronomy Club, Inc. of Lincoln, Nebraska.   David created these drawings from his observations using a software program titled "DrHalo IV".  Not only are these vivid and detailed representations, but are very useful as observing aids for these four extraordinary planetaries:

M76  - Little Dumbbell Nebula, Butterfly Nebula NGC2392 - Eskimo Nebula
NGC6543 - Cat's Eye Nebula (Updated 10/99 by D.K.) NGC7009 - Saturn Nebula

The diagram of  Common Planetary Nebula Spectral Lines was created and used by David in the 1998 Nebraska Star Party during a presentation on Planetary Nebulae.
THANKS, DAVID!
